Mystery Show Review!
Last Saturday Twiztid hosted their first Mystery Show in years at Fete Ballroom in Providence, RI. This show SOLD OUT with the quickness as NOBODY knew what the mystery was. Only Twiztid, George, and a select few ninjas at MNE knew this was going down. The main openers were even a mystery. Wolfpac, The R.O.C. and Boondox performed a surprise set for the Fam. It was off the fuckin' hook!
Once Boondox The Scarecrow disappeared from the stage the lights went out. The serial killers intro hit, Michael Meyers and Jason took the stage with their axes in hand. As they walked to their respective sides of the stage, the Mostasteless album intro hit and Madrox yelled "WELCOME TO THE MOSTASTELESS MYSTERY SHOW" once that happened the crowd went BERSERK!!! Monoxide and Madrox took the stage in their old school black hoodies and camo shorts starting with 2nd Hand Smoke and ending with Renditions of Reality. The nostalgia was in the building, goosebumps of remembering the OG Wicked Shit shot through the veins of the Fam in attendance, like HOLY SHIT is this real?!?!
Towards the end of the set, Blaze hit the stage for "Hound Dogs". It was an amazing song to see live as it was the first song we got to hear Blaze on back in the day. This track marked Blaze's real deal introduction to the Juggalo world. After "Hound Dogs" they tossed in some extra flavor from the first release, stuff like "Smoke Break," "She Ain't Afraid," "Murder Murder Murder." Once "Renditions of Reality" ended these mother fuckers kept going!!! Later on Boondox joined The Triple Threat and performed some rarely performed songs. It was truly a once in a lifetime show. Ultra fresh, full of the old shit, truly a night to remember. I can't wait for the next Mystery Show!!!
